I must pay $1,600 to Caesar! What an A-hole. The truth isn’t so bad. I don’t mind paying taxes. It goes to schools and infrastructure to make this a great place, right?

If it helps you sleep better at night, sure, that’s exactly where it goes.

It’s definitely all spent in an efficient yet compassionate manner that maximises utility for everyone. Yep.

Shit, I am getting 1300 back from uncle sam, I set up my W3 ,whatever the tax form is, to take alittle more out of my checks each month to get a return in april.

Fortunately, enough money is going to ATC to ensure controllers will never feel overworked or drowsy on the job.

It’s a W4. But you know you’re just giving the gubment an interest free loan right? Unless that’s the only way that will make you save money, I’d drop it a little. Not enough to have to owe at the end of the year, but get it down to about 500. That should be pretty simple to do if you’re income and deductions are pretty much the same from year to year.

Last year my return was around 500-600 but this year I worked more and put in more hours so thats why I think my return was larger.

Yeah a return is money that you didn’t earn bank interest on and they used for free. The idea is to somehow work out a perfect zero owed/returned.

I need to figure out some more deductions. I could try and deliberately fail at some other business activities.
